Previous experience: Secondary British Education, SAT (1450), IB program. Why do I teach? I enjoy mathematics so much, and it hurts me seeing kids struggle with it for so many years. As a university student, I see so many continue to struggle with maths beyond high school. No matter what career your child will approach, there is going to be math involved, especially with the STEM careers. The problem with the majority of the tutors is that they try to quickly fix kids' problems than address the basic foundation. What I try to do with my students is to make sure they have enough foundation. They don't need to memorize maths and how to solve some problems if they understand how maths works.
